Terms of service

These terms apply when you use jacien.co or buy anything from it. jacien.co is operated by Steven Williams, a sole proprietor based in New York, USA ("I", "me"). By making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. What I sell

Fixed-scope technology services (AI setups, automations, and websites) and digital products, as described on the Services and Products pages. Each listing states its price, what's included, what isn't, and the delivery time.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and paid once, in full, at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. I don't receive or store your full card details.

2a. Discounts and promotion codes

I sometimes offer discounts through promotion codes entered at Stripe checkout. Each code states its discount and may have an expiry date, a usage limit, or be for one person only. Codes can't be combined, have no cash value, and can't be applied after purchase. A discounted order gets the same scope, delivery, and refund terms as a full-price order, and refunds are limited to the amount actually paid.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information in the intake form and reply to questions within a reasonable time.
• Provide any accounts, subscriptions, content, or access the service lists under "You provide."
• Only share data you have the right to share. Don't send medical records or payment-card numbers.

4. Delivery, revisions, and refunds

Delivery, revisions, cancellation, and refunds follow the Refunds, cancellation & delivery policy.

5. Ownership

Once you've paid in full, you own the deliverables made specifically for you. I keep the right to reuse general methods, templates, and know-how that don't contain your confidential information. Digital products are licensed for your own use and may not be resold.

6. Third-party tools

Services often use third-party software, such as AI providers, automation platforms, and hosting. Those tools have their own terms and prices. I'm not responsible for their outages, price changes, or policy changes.

7. No professional advice

My services are technical setup work. They are not legal, financial, tax, or security-compliance advice. You're responsible for how you use AI tools and the results they produce.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service or product in question. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.

10. Changes and contact

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in place when you bought applies to that order. Contact: support@jacien.co.
